As a rising star from Fengxian, Shanghai Fish can be said to have "reached the top as soon as he debuted"! Created by Larry Xibbers, an international planning master and the chief designer of Dubai's "Palm Island", the "Jinhai Lake", a vast expanse of water, was excavated, and then connected with the adjacent Jinhui Port and Punan Canal to create today's "Shanghai Fish" "!  

"Shanghai Fish" is the core landscape lake of Fengxian New Town in Shanghai, covering an area of ​​8.74 square kilometers and is the largest artificial lake in Shanghai. As one of the biggest highlights in the planning of Fengxian New City, it forms the core area of ​​its ecological floor and serves as Fengxian’s “urban living room” and open space, allowing everyone to participate and enjoy the beauty of its water and greenery.

"Fish of Shanghai" is inspired by the Chinese people's beautiful meaning of "fish" and also comes from the original name of this place, "Longtan Village". As early as 13 years ago, the location of "Shanghai Fish" was still an empty wasteland with exposed loess. After a field trip, designer Larry Hibbers took advantage of the local rich water system and used the technique of earth sculpture to carve out goldfish. The shape of Jinhai Lake and the graceful and winding shoreline outline the functions of different areas. On this basis, this iconic urban facility for the future is created.

With "Jinhai Lake" as the main body, Shanghai Fish has presented a planning pattern of "one center, three shots, and four areas", that is: an ecological core composed of a fish-shaped lake surface and public green space around the lake, with three lines pointing to the center of the lake, the visual There are transparent landscape corridors, as well as commercial office areas, public activity areas, high-end residential areas and urban theme parks located in the west, north, south and east respectively.

At present, the area has begun to take shape. Nianfeng Park, Paopao Park, Fengxian Museum, Fengxian City Planning Museum, etc. along the lake have been completed and opened, and two hotels are under intensive construction.
